Heating elements are used to maintain temperature and reduce humidity levels in electrical panels, automation cabinets, ATMs, payment terminals, and other electronic devices. Previously, incandescent lamps were used for these purposes - but it is clear that this method does not comply with modern stringent requirements for electrical and electronic equipment. Currently, almost all manufacturers are switching to PTC heaters, which not only provide heating but also guarantee safety and durability of operation.

All heaters are equipped with electronic surface overheating protection, which provides an additional guarantee of safe operation.

Due to the high demands placed on heaters for control cabinets, Plastim paid special attention to the selection of component suppliers. For example, the supplier of PTC heaters is Schneider Electric, and the terminal strip for electrical connections of all components is produced by the Italian company KORNER on a special order. The plastic from which this block is made has a very important property: when heated, it not only retains its shape and does not deform, but also does not emit any odors, and therefore does not release any harmful carcinogenic substances into the atmosphere. I agree that this approach to supplier selection favorably distinguishes high-quality Plastim heaters from cheap Chinese counterparts.

To ensure automatic temperature maintenance using this heater, a simple bimetallic thermostat or a more complex temperature controller will be needed. Both devices can be purchased on our website:
