Automatic star-delta switch - star-delta time relays are designed for the initial starting of three-phase motors. When the coil is powered, it switches to star wiring to allow the motor to start. The star remains connected for a specified time, then goes into standby mode. After the waiting period, it allows switching to the delta connection. This ensures efficiency by reducing the current drawn by high-power motors during startup.
